LAKE CONSTANCE
SCHEME OF ILLUMINATION. The city of Constance has now completed its plan to illuminate the entire German lake front of Lake Constance. The row of lights commence about 11 miles beyond the city limits and continue along the north shore of the Jake and the entire length of Adolf Hitler Strasse, as far as the bridge over the Rhine. This bridge, as soon as it has been rebuilt will be included in the illumination scheme, which will extend as far as the harbour, lighting up the Minster and the old Council Hall and Terrace. This lake-shore illumination now extends for a length of about 2b miles, and on the south will eventually be connected with a similar illumination scheme now planned by Switzerland. At a not far distant date the entire Bay of Constance will be illuminated.
