CANTERBURY PROVINCE DEMONSTRATION WINNERS OF COMPETITIONS [ Per Press Association. ] ASHBURTON, Oct. 23. The Canterbury Provincial Fire Brigades’ Association’s annual demonstration was held to-day, nearly 80 teams from all part of the province competing. Ashburton (17) won the Hefford Cup for most points in dry events, and Waimate (15) was second. Waimate (35) won the shield for the most points in wet events, and Ashburton (27) was second.
