ROBBERY ON NIAGARA
BAR TILL REMOVED Received Oct. 24, 9.25 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 24. Early on Friday morning the watchman on the Niagara, which arrived from Auckland, noticed that a pane of glass in the bar window was broken. Investigaticn revealed the till, containing £2 in silver, had been removed.
Captain Toten and his officers immediately investigated and detectives boarded the vessel on its arrival, but the culprit was not found.
