After many incidents in which deputies were roughly handled, the Government has postponed the local elections in live hundred communal districts of Czechoslovakia, including a hundred in which Germans predominate as voters. SERBIAN SPINSTERS PETITION FOR FRANCHISE. Received Oct. 24, 7.55 p.m. SOFIA, Oct. 22. The new electoral law now operating in Serbia entitles married women, widows and divorcees to vote and stand for Parliament, but those not enfranchised include spinsters, who arc indignantly petitioning the Government.
