BOXER SUFFERS BURNS

ACCIDENT DURING WELDING GISBORNE, Oct. 14. A well-known Gisborne boxer, Mr. Alex Robertson, was severely burned about the arms when a motor truck caught fire in a garage. Mechanics were welding the chassis when the under-carriage of the truck ignited. Mr. Robertson attempted to tear the benzine pipe off. With the aid of a fire extinguisher the flames were put out after an anxious time spent removing cars from danger.
