PICK-ME-UP
Break three eggs and pound their shells firmly. Put into a jug and add the juice of four lemons. Let it stand covered for three or four days, stirring occasionally. Then strain through muslin, passing as much of the shells as possible. Boil four ounces sugar candy in a gill of water, and, when cold, add it to the rest with half a pint of rum.
Bottle and cork tightly. Take a wineglassful in the morning.
