OUR NAVY Many and varied are the theories advanced to explain the attraction the navy holds for the average land dweller. Whatever the secret may be, the fact remains that visits paid to New Plymouth by units of the navy have always proved popular I with residents of this district. The first visit of the Dominion’s latest cruiser—H.M.S. Leander—will doubtI less attract many visitors to N«w Plymouth and Breakwater. In omer to cater for them, also for those wiio wish to pay an early visit to the seaside. the Railway Department is promoting another of the popular Sunday excursions at an early date.
