LADIES’ CLOSING DAY Fine weather prevailed on Thursday for the official closing of the ladies’ golf season at Waverley. There was a good attendance and many enjoyable games were played. Competitions were played, the results being as follow: — Morning Games.—Medal round: Mrs. D. Lupton won on a count back from Mrs. K. Gibbons. Junior medal round: Mrs. C. Christensen. C division: Mrs. L. Paton. • Afternoon Games.—Canadian foursome over 15 holes: Mrs. J. Gray and Miss D. Simson. Putting competition: Mrs. D. Lupton. Approach and putting competition: Mrs. K. Gibbons.
