OUTSIDE WORK BANNED
BOROUGH COUNCIL’S STAFF NEW PLYMOUTH, Oct. 19. Permanent employees of the Ne\f Plymouth Borough Council may not accept any other work for pecuniary gain, according to a decision of the council. It had been reported to the council that a few members of its staff had been accepting work from other employers. The council agreed that n? was unfair while many men were still without employment that men in constant employment should accept outside casual work.
