The Department of Agriculture,'has received the following cablegram, dated October 16, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London: — , , Tallow: Market quiet and quotations unchanged. Hemp. Manila: Market very quiet, and tone easier; closing sellers for October-December shipments £26 ss. Sisal: Market quiet and irregular. October - December shipments sold down to £25 7s 6d. New Zealand: Market very quiet and no first-hand sales reported. Values nominal on the basis of high points £27 10s. Eggs: Market slow. English, national pack, 15s 6d to 225; English, ordinary pack, ISs 6d to 19s 6d, Danish, 13s 9d to 15s 3d; Australian, 12s 6d to 14s.
