LEADER AT AUCKLAND [ Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Oct. 18. To assist in the establishment of a monastery and retreatists’ house on an elevated property at Hillsboro, Auckland, the Very Rev. Father D. Nolan, 0.F.M., of the Sydney Provincial of Franciscan Friars, arrived by the Monterey. It is hoped that the labours of the Franciscan Friars will be resumed in New Zealand at the same time as the Catholic centenary slebrations next year.-
