HARLAXTON HALL
NEW OWNER’S PLANS LONDON, Oct. 17. Mrs Van Der Elst, the campaigner against capital punishment, has bought Harlaxton Hall, near Grantham, and intends to convert the vast basement into an air raid shelter, and to install apparatus to keep 4000 people alive for a fortnight with oxygen.
