Mr and Mrs C. M. Cooke, of Honolulu, were visitors to Wanganui during the week-end. Mr and Mrs F. Corbett, of Suva, Fiji, have been on a short visit to Wanganui. Mrs Ivan Johnston, Kai Iwi, left on Thursday for Sydney and Melbourne. Mr and Mrs P. Doull, of Waikere Beach, revisited Wanganui at the week-end for the opening of the Wanganui Bowling Club. Mrs Kidson, of Nelson, is the guest of Mrs J. R. Sutherland, Bastia Extension. Mrs Cresswell leaves Wanganui today to spend a few days with Mrs J. B. Cress well, at Stratford, en route to Auckland. Miss Tui Morrins, of Hawke’s Bay, who has been spending a holiday in Wanganui, returned to her home on Saturday. Mr and Mrs Hadeler E. Ziesler, who have been visiting their daughter, Mrs Glasgow, at Nelson, have returned to Gonville.

Mrs John Schroder, of Christchurch, is visiting Wanganui as the guest of Mrs W. Peat.

Mrs Banks, of Wellington, who accompanied her daughter, Miss Trevor Hunter, to Wanganui early in the week, has returned to her home.

Mrs S. M. Davies, Selwyn Street, has returned from a week's holiday in Wellington, where she met Mr Davies, who has been visiting Sydney.

Mrs Sloan Morpeth, Miss Shirley Tolhurst, Miss B. Kernot, Miss E. M. Hutton, Miss B. Chesney, and Miss L. Wray, the members of the Australian women’s golf team, left by the Awatea on Friday night for Sydney.

Mrs F. Spurdie and Mrs Russell Scoular, who have been spending a month in Australia, are returning tu New Zealand by the Monterey, which is due to arrive at Auckland to-day. They will be met by Mr Russell Scoular, and will return to Wanganui by motor.
