THE WEDDING RING
Half the world’s brides, it is claimed, are married with wedding rings made in Birmingham. A firm that has been in the business since the eighteenth century says that the present vogue for narrow and light rings is a reversion to the type favoured a hundred years ago. There are already signs, however, that heavier rings will become fashionable before long.
