DEFEATS OF WEST COAST SUCCESSFUL SEASON [ Per Press Association. ] WESTPORT, Oct. 17. Buller completed a highly-successful sports season in competition against West Coast with the victory of . the West port ladies at golf over Greymouth in the Ladies’ Challenge Shield yesterday. Buller also beat Coast in the Seddon Shield, the major Rugby trophy, the Peter Dawson Cup (Association football), the Mawhera Cup (hockey), the Dalgleish Challenge Shield (golf). Buller also hold the Forst Cup (cricket) and the basketball team has not been beaten for two years.
