CAMP BEING REBUILT
ARMY ACCOMMODATION ON SALISBURY PLAINS. Received Oct. 15, 9.10 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 15. The Larkhill canq on Salisbury Plains is being completely rebuilt, the huts being replaced wjth brick structures of modern design, and schools and other establishments provided. Extended accommodation is being provided for new units.
BETTER BOOTS FOR ARMY. Received Oct. 15, 9.5 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 15. The War Office has decreed that the Army must have better boots, and has contracted for 60,000 pairs, which the Daily Mail is informed are “like those which country gentlemen wear.”
