“Marathon’’ Golf A feature of play in the provincial golf tournament at the Belmont link* yesterday was the fact that a largonumber of games went over more than eighteen holes, instances being provided of games going to the 21st. and even the 22nd. green. Boys’ Choirs Combine. The Wellington Boys’ Choir, who are in the charge of Mr. Temple White, are to pay a visit to Wanganui shortly as guests of the Wanganui Boys’ Choir. This will be the first of a periodical interchange of visits between the two choirs. During their stay the visitors will be entertained at various functions, and cricket matches will be arranged. In the evening the choirs, which will number approximately 60 voices, will combine to give a programme of numbers. The following day will be Youths’ Rally Sunday, and at the invitation of Rev. R. Dudley, chairman of the Wanganui Choir, all boys will be present at Trinity Church in the morning to sing several sacred numbers.
