MAN’S SUDDEN DEATH
WANGANUI RESIDENT EMPLOYED AT BONNY GLEN While engaged in dressing with the intention of visiting Wanganui, Victor Charles Tomasi, aged 56 years, dropped dead in his hut at Bonny Glen at 4.15 p.m. yesterday afternoon. He was found by the driver of a lorry which was to take him into Wanganui. Mr Tomasi was employed as Public Works overseer on the work on constructing the overhead bridge at Bonny Glen, which is situated three miles from Marton on the Wanganui Road.
Mr. Tomasi, who was a married man, residing at 39 Keith Street, Wanganui, had been employed on the bridge for approximately three months.
