FIGHTING IN ARAGON LARGE FORCES EMPLOYED (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 13. The Times Bilbao correspondent says that the long-expected Republican offensive in Aragon was launched with 200,000 men, including international troops and picked Spanish storm troopers, supported by 500 tanks, 200 aeroplanes ,and ample artillery on a 250-kilometre front. Fighting is proceeding from Jaca to Tereul.
The insurgents claim that they defeated the Republican aerial attacks on Saragosa, bringing down 24 bombers and 9 fighters.
