: “KNIGHT WITHOUT ARMOUR" 'I Marlene Dietrich and Robert Donat, one of the most glamorous romantic teams In screen history, come to the Regent Theatre to-day, when Alexander Korda’s “Knight Without Armour” will be screened. Fittingly enough, their vehicle is one of the greatest love stories of all time, from the pen of the famous James Hilton, who wrote “Good-bye, Mr. Chips," and “Lost Horizon.” Her first English picture casts Marlene Dietrich as an alluring Russian countess and Donat 1«. seen as a mysterious modern knight errant whose haired flares into a, flame of protective love as they livai through a series of stirring adventures, knowing moments of incomparable horror and bliss as they flee from the countless terrors that threaten to tear them apart. The settings, among the biggest and most impressive ever, seen on the screen, were designed by the brilliant Lazare Meerson, who also created the backgrounds for Korda's “Fire Over England.” These include a forest so real that it fooled hundreds of birds and bull-frogs who moved in and settled down for the winter, an<f a section of railway complete with two genuine locomotives. The protography is credited to Harry Stradling and the costumes were designed by! Georges Benda.
