MISS JEAN BATTEN
DUE AT DARWIN ON FRIDAY SYDNEY, Oct. 12. Miss Jean Batten will leave Richmond aerodrome on Thursday morn ing. She expects to reach Cloncurry the same night and fly to Darwin on Friday. She will begin an attempt on the record from Darwin when the weather reports are favourable.
