BIG ELIMINATION BOUT TO-NIGHT JUDSON AND NOLAND BOTH WILL BE ALL OUT TO WIN What should prove to be one of the fastest and most thrilling wrestling bouts ever staged in Wanganui, is set down for this evening at the Opera House. The contestants, who have never met each other before, are Frank Judson and Don Noland. The pace will be on all the way for the winner will be in the firing line of the elimination series at present being conducted in the Dominion to see who will meet the world champion, Bronko Nagurski Noland has a reputation as a fiery wrestler who believes in the policy of “everything goes.” As a physical specimen he is outstanding, even in a profession noted for the physique of its members. Judson is a former wrestling coach at Harvard University, who has wrestled in most parts of the world, and is everywhere respected as a great matman. He specialises in wristlocks, a form of attack which is very hard to counter. The draw for the amateur preliminaries is as follow: M. Yunovitch v. M. Thompson; M. Ruepena v. S. Vine; M. Tonga v. J. Phillips; K. Terry v. Mete Kingi. All the boys are fit and some good lively contests should be witnessed.
