JEAN BATTEN’S PLANS
EFFORT TO SECURE RECORD SYDNEY, Oct. 11. 1 Miss Jean Batten has not yet decided when she will leave. Her route will* be the same as on her re-cord-breaking flight from England to Australia a year ago. Leaving Darwin she will fly to Koepang, Batavia, Akyab, Calcutta, Allahabad, Karachi, Bagdad, Cyprus, Rome, and London. If she succeeds in boating Mr Broadbent's record she will be the first to hold the solo record in both directions at the same time.
