VOLUNTEER LABOUR
BRISBANE BREWERIES REOPEN Received Oct. 11 10.30 p.m. j BRISBANE Oct. 11. There was a fairly' general response to the call for volunteer union labour for the idle breweries which reopened to-day’ under police protection. Long lines of cars from hotels in all parts of the city and suburbs arrived and took away thousands of bottles of beer resulting in the bottle washers joining the strikers who are now blacklisting the names of the hotelkeepers involved.
