HERD TESTING
MANAWATU ASSOCIATION SEPTEMBER RESULTS The Manawatu Co-operative Herdtesting Association reports upon testing carried out locally as follows:
The highest group in the association was that of Glen Oroua-Taikorea, wherein 305 cows averaged 10011 b milk, 451 b fat. The highest herds in the local groups were as follow:
The highest herd in the association was one in the Stanway-Feilding group, wherein 20 cows averaged 11021 b milk, 541 b fat.
The highest cow in the association was one in the Palmerston NorthTiakitahuna group which produced 28501 b milk, 3.7 tost, 1051 b fat. The association tested in all 10,972 cows, the average cow producing 8121 b milk, 4.5 test, 36.61 b fat.
