OFFERINGS, SALES AND EXPORTS

Returns compiled by Dalgety and Company, Limited, show that during the three months ended September 30, 22,412 bales of wool were offered in New Zealand, of which 20,841 bales were sold, as compared with 18,963 bales offered and 18,398 bales sold during the corresponding period of last year. Shipments of wool from New Zealand last month totalled 18,757 bales of which 12,692 bales were greasy wool and 6065 bales were scoured and slipe.

Exports of wool from the Dominion during the three months ended September 30 totalled 71,946 bales, as against 61,346 bales for the corresponding quarter of last year, an increase of 10,600 bales.
