It is an absorbing story of self-help co-opera-tion, or living together. “It Never Fans," by J. M. Harcourt, could be called Julius in America. It is a witty story of a journalist who lands in Australia with the intention of earning his living. "Selina's Summer,” by Janet Lynn, is a charming book ot travel, the diary of the author when on holiday with her faithful old car Selina.

“The Faith of An Englishman,” by Sir Edward Grigg, is a powerful book by a politician of outstanding eminence. He discusses the political creed and policy which will best preserve parliamentary democracy and avert an impending “Greater War.” “The Great Migration,” by J. F. Lee, is the result of deep research concerning the Great Exodus ot the Israelites, the origin of the Jewish people and Information towards the solution of a world problem. “Angry Dust" is the remarkable autobiography of a modern novelist, Nikolai Gubsky. It gives an insight into English life achieved by few foreigners. “Paradise Rejected,” by Charles Plumb, is a study in war and society to-day. “Savage Civilisation,” by Tom Harrison, is an intensive study of the New Hebrides, Southern Melanesia. The author was awarded the Cuthbert Peek Grant by the Royal Geographical Society.
