MARTON 0.8. BEAT PIRATES WINNERS DEFINITELY THE BEST Marton Old Boys and Pirates played a match on the racecourse In which the Marton team was the dominating force, winning by 19 to 6. The score at half-time was nine to three, Berryman having scored a try for Pirates. In the second spell Marton added another 10 points against a penalty for the blacks kicked by Spriggens. Coles scored two tries for Marton and Marshall and Parkes on* each. Marshall kicked a penalty and converted one try. Watt converted another, making the final score 19. Mr. E. Whaistrom was the referee.
