CONTRARY TO FACT
CRITICISM OF MUNICIPAL WORKERS UNION’S RESENTMENT The following resolution was carried unanimously at the quarterly meeting of the Wanganui Municipal Labourers’ Union last evening:— “The members of the Wanganui Municipal Labourers’ Union resent the remarks made by Cr. O. Hales at a recent meeting of the Wanganui City Council in connection with council employees not earning the money they receive, the said remarks being, in our opinion, quite uncalled for and to fact."
