METROPOLITAN UNION

MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE LAST NIGHT’S MEETING The Management Committee of the Wanganui Metropolitan Rugby Union met last night, Mr. J. Moye presiding. There were also present Messrs. C. ADanielson, H. Whiting, J. B. Cotterill, J. C. Ward, R. I. Sewell, Latham, C. Stewart, W. R. McElwain, E. C. Dallison and A. Lockett. The Rangitikei Union wrote with reference to the "Moye” scheme, pointing out that some difficulty had arisen. The Kaierau Club thanked the union for passes for club coaches. Thanks were received from the Mayor of Wanganui for the union’s donation towards the King George V Memorial Fund. The Rangitikei Union’s request to have the Marist v. Marton Old Boys match on June 26 played at Marton instead of Spriggens Park was referred to the fixtures committee. The Junior Management Comimttce was instructed to arrange a date for a junior representative match wit,h Rangitikei.
