WANGANUI ACTIVITIES KING’S BIRTHDAY MATCH COOKS GARDENS TO-DAY With thc visit of the touring English amateur soccer team set down for Wednesday of next week, June 16, interest in soccer activities in Wanganui is growing apace, and the prospects of a largo crowd at Cook’s Gardens on the occasion of thc visit appear bright. The team to play the Englishmen is a combination of Wanganui and Taranaki representatives, and they will be seen in action to-day at Cook's Gardens against the Wellington B representatives.
