This historic souvenir u as worn at the wedding of King Edward VII when, as Prince of Wales, he married Princess Alexandra of Denmark. It is now in the possession of Mr. F. H. C. Smith, of Wellington, great-grandson of the original owner, Mr. W. M. Merris, of Bristol, England.
