LARGE INCREASE IN EXPORTS Shipments of tallow from Dominion ports last month totalled 2953 tons, of which 16371 tons were for Europe, 64g tons for India, 44751 tons for Japan, 1914 tons for the United States, and four tons went "elsewhere.” According to the returns compiled by Dalgety and Co., Ltd., exports of tallow for the 11 months to May 28 totalled 24,896 tons, compared with 19,498 tons for the corresponding period of 1935-36, an increase of 5398 tons. Sales of tallow in New Zealand last month totalled 41J tons.
