SOLAR ECLIPSE PARTIES
SYDNEY, June 5. A radio message from the New Zealand solar sclipse expedition at Canton Island stated that both the New Zealand and the American parties held eclipse drill yesterday. The focusing and adjusting or instruments is proceeding satisfactorily. A message of good wishes for the success of the party and of appreciation of the assistance of the Navy has been received from Mr. D. G. Sullivan, New Zealand Minister in charge of Scientific and Industrial Research.
