DEFENDERS’ TRIALS Received June 6, 7.30 p.m. NEW YORK, June 5. A Newport message yesterday says the Ranger defeated the Rainbow by Imin. 58sec over 30 miles. At Newport in the America’s Cup trial the Ranger deefated the Yankee by 2min. ssec. over the 30-mile course.
