THE RAETIHI SALE
N.Z. Loan and Mercantile AgencyCo., Ltd., Wanganui, report an entry of 500 sheep at their fortnightly sale at Raetihi' yesterday, there being a small attendance. Competition was keen, resulting in a total clearance being effected, with prices showing an advance on recent sales. They quote as under:—Fair 4-th. to 4-year ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 36s 6d; fair condition s.m. ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 26s 7d; medium 4-th. to 4-year ewes r.w. Romney rams, 355; small 2-tooth ewes r.w. Romney rams, 355; aged ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 17s 8d; medium to good wether lambs, 21s; black faced 2-tooth ewes, 26s 9d; fair 2-tooth wethers, 265; aged pony, £4 10s; child's pony. £B.
