Levin and Co., Ltd-, have received the following cable from their London agents, dated June 4: Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.): North Island Down lambs, 28/361bs 7 5-8 d per lb, 36/42ibs 7d per lb; best North Island crossbred lambs, 28/361bs 7id per lb; 36/421bs 7d per lb; North Island second quality lambs average, 30, z 3llbs 7 l-8d per lb; best North Island wether sheep under 48Ibs, 5 3-8 d per lb, 48/561b 5d per lb, 56/641bs 4iid per lb, 64/721b 4 5-8 d per lb; North Island ewes, under 481 b 4.id, 48/561b 3 7-8 d; 56/641b 3 5-8 d; 64/72 3H; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/2201b5, none offering. Compared with last week’s quotations, Down lambs 28/361bs I—Bd per lb higher; crossbred lamb, 28/361bs, l-8d per lb higher; second quality lamb l-8d per lb higher; wethers under 561bs, l-8d per lb higher; 56/64 lbs, 3-8 d per lb higher; 67/721bs, id per lb higher; others unchanged. The lamb market continues firm. The mutton market is steady.
