’ LAMB AND MUTTON FIRM The Bank of Australia has received ■ the following cable, dated June 2, ' from its London office:— Frozen lambs: For the last three > weeks prices have been firmer owing to the better demand; position strengthened by gap in New Zealand arrivals and market continues firm. Frozen mutton: Demand restricted at the beginning of month and market somewhat easier; lately have been more inquiries for wethers, which together with reduced supplies have caused hardening tendency.
