RESIDENCES WRECKED
WHIRLWIND AT GREYMOUTH [ Per Press Association. 1 GREYMOUTH, March 3. A whirlwind at 8.45 partially wrecked residences in Chapel Street. A verandah was torn from Mrs. Kennedy’s residence. The owner was absent. Two balconies were blown off Mr. W. Olsen’s residence and the occupants evacuated the house. Miss Roache’s residence had windows shattered. Trees were damaged but there was no damage elsewhere.
