RIGID RULE WAIVED
COVENT GARDEN THEATRE NO DRESS ON CORONATION NIGHT Received April 29, 11.45 p.m. LONDON, April 29. Envisaging enormous traffic difficulties on Coronation night, and the impossibility of patrons getting home to change, the Covent Garden authorities have waived the hitherto rigid rule of evening dress for the opera that night.
