NORTH-WEST FRONTIER

TROUBLE STILL LOOMING TRIBES BEING INCITED TO REVOLT. Received March 19, 12.45 a.m. LONDON, March 18. The Times’ Delhi correspondent says that tribal conditions at Waziristan are still causing anxiety, particularly in the Northern Territory where the Faquir of Ipi is actively fostering an anti-Government campaign and endeavouring to assemble the tribes for a Holy War. From his sick bed, which is being carried among the tribes, he is inciting them to acts of hostility. There are no signs that he is receiving assistance from tribes on the Afghanistan side of the border, although he has endeavoured to do so. There are many troops in the neighbourhood to meet any eventualities.
