MOST FROM v TWO TESTS TOTAL EXCEEDS £40,000 MELBOURNE, March 9. At a meeting of the Victorian Cricket Association the treasurer, Mr. W. S. Stott, announced that the M.C.C. had received more than £40,000 as the proceeds of the whole tour of Australia. Of this total £21,072 came from the two Melbourne Tests.
