Arnold, matron of St. Helens Hospital, left Wellington yesterday afternoon by the Awatea for Sydney, to connect with the Strathnaver on March 20 for England, vih Suez. Miss Arnold is one of the five delegates elected to represent the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association at the International Congress, which is being held in London in July. Later she will visit various parts of England and Scotland, after which a tour of observation of the teaching methods in obstetrical schools of nursing in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Holland will (take place. Miss Arnold will be absent from New Zealand for 12 months land will return via the United States ‘and Canada.
