PRISONERS SENTENCED (Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 8. The Chief Justice sentenced Richard Sullivan, labourer, 34, to two years’ hard labour for assaulting and robbing Hugh Douglas Mclntosh at Napier. Ronald Thomas Henderson and William Bowers Bandy, both labourers, 25, who are serving 18 months, for possession of housebreaking implements, were sentenced to nine months’ concurrent with the present sentence for attempted breaking and entering at Henderson, and were also sentenced to six months’ cumulative, on two counts of receiving stolen keys. Both were warned that they were in danger of being declared habitual criminals.
