OPIUM TRAFFIC
AGREEMENT FOR CONTROL RATIFICATION BY JAPAN LONDON, Feb. 7. The agreement concluded at Bankok in 1931 under the League auspices imposing the application of a full monopoly on retail prepared opium in Far Eastern countries has just come into force owing to Japan’s ratification, which is to be added to the existing ratifications by the United Kingdom, France, India, the Netherlands, and Portugal.
