“IN THE SOUP” I Ralph Lynn, the well-known English comedian, adds another film success to his already long list by his performance in “In the Soup,” now showing at the Plaza Theatre. Lynn iis seen as an unsuccessful and incompetent lawyer. Being pressed for money, he endeavours to let his sumptuous London flat, and it is this action that gets him and his wife into all the trouble. Under his father’s will he benefits at the age of 40, but there is a proviso in the will that he must not be married before that age. He is already married, and he is forced to keep this from a testy retired Ini dian Army officer, who is trustee of his father’s will. Both husband and wife left the flat at the same time, the wife to the uncle, whom she does not know, and Lynn to a lady friend of his uncle.
