10,000 DOLLARS
GIFT TO COLLEGE LIBRARY CARNEGIE GENEROSITY [ Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, Nov. 26. In recognition, in the words of the president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Dr. F. P. Keppel, of the extraordinarily satisfactory development of its library, the Victoria University College, Wellington, is to receive from the Corporation a grant of 10,000 dollars, payable at the rate of 5000 dollars annually for two years, for its library. This advice was received by the College Council at a meeting to-night from the Carnegie Corporation.
