FOREIGN MIGRANTS?
SETTLERS IN AUSTRALIA LORD BARNBY ALLAYS FEARS LONDON, Nov. 25. Replying to a correspondent's anxiety at the prospect of the migration of non-Britons to Australia. Lord Barnby, writing to the Times, says that surely a moderate stream need cause no anxiety because of the dominance of the British race and characteristics. Australia's splendid war record of the almost entirely German communities in South Australia is a reassuring precedent. He also refers favourably to the Greeks and Italians in Queensland.
