ACTIVE GENERAL BUYING LONDON, Nov. 25. At the wool sales 8045 bales were offered, including 3334 from New Zealand and 7736 were sold. There was a good very selection, with active general buying at strong rates which were frequently 5 per cent, above the recent levels. New Zealand slipe halfbred lamb, Kaiapoi, top price, 22id; average 19 7-Bd. Messrs. Wright, Stephenson.and Co., Ltd., are just in receipt of cabled advice from their London house regarding the London wool sales, reading as follows:—The sales closed with an average attendance of buyers. The market continues active, competition is animated arid selection good. We quote' the following realisations:— Greasy Merino, 60/64’s, yielding 48 per cent., 16d; greasy fine half bred 56/58’s, yielding 62 per cent., 16d; greasy halfbred, 50/56’s, yielding 68 per cent., 15d; greasy threequarter-

bred, 48/50’s, yielding 74 per cent., 134 d; greasy fine crossbred, 46/48's. yielding 75 per cent., 13d; greasy medium crossbred, 44/46's, yielding 76 per cent., 12Jd; greasy coarse crossbred, 36/40's, yielding 76 per cent., Hid; greasy crossbred lambs, 46/50’s, 12id.
