It is a very difficult scene to play uno of the many reasons being that Herbert Brenon, always a stickler for realism, had Noah Beery use a really lighted cigarette. “Mummy’s Boy-..” One of the gayest of recent hollywood birthday parties was given on the RKO Radio lot for Barbara Pepper, blonde film beauty, by members of the cast and crew ot “Mummy’s Boys.” in which she plays the lead for Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey. She was presented with a huge cake bearing 21 cantiles and the entire company helped her to cut it. Miss Pepper, who is a former Ziegfeld beauty, plays her first feature lead in “Mummy’s Boys." She is the fourth leading lady to appear with Wheeler and Woolsey in the nineteen pictures they’ve made for RKO Radio Pictures.
